The God Of War has stuck to the simplistic plan of the game since the original in 2005. Set in, Norse mythology inspired world and starring a familiar but thoughtfully reimagined character, God of War’s fish-out-of-Greek-water tale is a nonstop whirlwind of emotions. The game finally makes Kratos a likeable character due to the start as he is in Midgar looking after his young son Atreus. What follows this a beautiful story between both Kratos and Arteus as they go forth to redeem their mother. Both the new mechanical system and the 4k graphic allows this game to be one for the books in 2018 with IGN rating the game 10/10 comment on it “t hat is nothing short of a masterpiece. ” Ashton

It's Day 3 of IEM Sydney 2018 which means playoffs are coming soon for the CS: GO tournament. In group B, we already have confirmed Astralis and Fnatic going into the playoffs but the question is, who will get the bye? It is still unconfirmed who will be playing in the lower bracket of this group to get out. In the lower bracket, we have FaZe Clan vs Cloud 9 where we will see 2 of the strongest teams here duke it out and one will be eliminated today. So far, it's looking good for our Australian team, Renegades clawing their way through group A, where they will face TyLoo, in order to get the bye in the quarterfinals of the playoffs. The latest installment in the “soul” series comes Dark Souls 3. The game that pushes you to the limit and constantly makes you want to rage quit the game. This behemoth of a game was released in 2016 and is one of the hardest game ever to be created. The game is a third person action role-playing game where you travel through the land, collect weapons to battle your way through to the boss, “The Ashen One”.   The story line is compelling as well as the graphics made for the game, it feels like you are slowly descending into the apocalypse. However, the difficulty of this game is what makes it amazing. The old adage of one step forward and three steps back cannot be any truer when describing this game. You cannot reset the game to load back into your game at a specific point in time. The Nintendo Switch is Nintendo’s newest console and it’s taking over the world right now thanks to its unique features. The Nintendo Switch is a hybrid console that allows players to not only play their games at home by inserting the screen in a docking station but also in a portable mode. The touchscreen console of the Switch is similar to a tablet such as an iPad which makes it easy to carry when on the go. Each side of the console has 2 wireless controllers that can be used for 2 player game modes, works similar to a Wii remote and can be charged just by placing them in the docking station. The Switch has released many games that were highly critically praised such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild, Super Mario Odyssey and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It became Nintendos fastest selling console with already 18 million units sold after a year of its release. I highly recommend picking up this console for people that want to play games at home and away from home. David

Far Cry 5 Review  Far Cry 5 is an action-adventure first-person shooter game developed by Ubisoft, and is currently available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The game takes place in fictional Hope County, Montana in which  charismatic preacher Joseph Seed (aka 'The Father") and his cult hold's a dictatorial rule over the area. Seed believes that he has been chosen by God to protect the people of Hope Country from an inevitable collapse and has established a cult group known as the Project at Edens Gate. Seed believes that this will lead his people to salvation, however in reality Seed has merely created a radicalised militaristic doomsday cult. Edens gate uses both coercion and violence to forcible convert residents of hope country to join the cult, and uses intimidation to prevent its members from joining the outside world. Fortnite is the best video game in the world right now. Fortnite finished their 3rd season and now the new season will be braced by impact as they gave a major update to they whole game, by added new features to the map. The major changes to the map was part of Dusty Depot and the whole of Salty Factory has been removed by the meteor that impacted the earth leaving a massive crater in the middle of the map, between Tilted Towers and Retail Row. As many players was excited and anxious to see  what has happened. The new update is a success to many gamer's that love Fortnite. Furthermore epic game has added new features to the map by having mini craters all around the map, within the crater their are anti gravity crystals that you can consume that will make you jump high and travel much faster and the best thing about the crystal is that you take no fall damage as that is pretty cool. The second day of the play in group stages has already finished and what were the results? The second day was the start of group b which consist of BAUSuperMassive from Turkey, KaBuM E Sports from Brazil, PENTAGRAM from Japan and finally the Oceanic representatives the Dire Wolves from Australia. Last night BAUSuperMassive had a clean game against all the other teams winning all three of their games. Coming 2 nd behind BAUSuperMassive were the Dire Wolves with only one loss so far which is a good result. Followed by the Dire Wolves are KaBuM and PENTAGRAM who yesterday did not do so well.
